What a great park! We hadn't planned on staying here, but had truck issues and they got us right in for two nights. It was beautiful, well maintained, and nice, big sites. This park made a frustrating situation a good experience. Thanks so much!

May 5, 2016Facilities are OK. I've seen much better. One thing that is horrible of the management is they will change free services to paid without telling you that it'll be changing. Good business practice is to tell your paying customers that it will be changing first; then change it.

March 12, 2017They do not give refunds, even if you drive home, ten minutes after seeing what you just paid for, literally never setting anything on their grounds. If you want a vacation, do not come to this place. The interstate is its neighbor, the sites are too close together. The camper/RV sites are incredibly close to the tent sites. It is suffocating. The biggest joke I have ever paid for. Not a happy customer.

November 11, 2015Got to admit this is one great campground. Stayed here after all the hotels in the area where booked and were charging upwards of $200 per night... got my usual cabin with bathroom and shower for active military for $72. I love KAO campgrounds and i never pass up a chance to stay at one. The lady was very friendly and very helpful...southern hospitality at its best. Only suggestion: colder ac unit in the cabin...i like it cold.

August 26, 2017My favorite place to camp ! Yes I would recommend, and I have recommended to others ! We do miss the hay rides tho ! We wish they would get rid of the big pile of trash that you can see from the interstate , doesn't look so good ! The bath houses were really clean this time ! They do need 1 more dumpster, they don't have enough room in the two they have now ! Hope this helps !

October 6, 2017Only spent one night just passing through. Campground in great location. Clean bathroom as well as a cool place to get away from the heat of a hot tent. We stopped for the pool very clean. Disliked camp store closed early and the free fishing pond smelled with stagnant mosquitoe infested green yucky water. My family ended up with lots of mosquito bit after dusk they swarmed us. Bring Bug Spray!!

July 14, 2017Well, I love Kentucky. The KOA has really clean restroom facilities and super friendly staff. Down side is that the sites are not great. Poorly maintained with uneven gravel pull-throughs, fire rings and beat-up picnic tables. So many dogs, barking at 6am is a big problem. Good thing is you meet great people from KY who are camping with their kids! Love that memories are made here.

August 21, 2017We stayed 2 days here. It was nice. Gravel pull thru but pretty level. We didn't use any of the amenities do I can't say anything about them. Everyone we met was nice. Enjoyed our stay. Especially enjoyed visiting the corvette factory & museum & the vette antique Mkt. Also Rafferty's was a great place to eat. Loved bowling Green.

We have stayed at the Bowling Green KOA multiple times. We are always greeted by the the friendly staff, who go out of their way to help you. This past year they have worked hard to manicure the grounds and update the kids area and put-put golf area and it shows. We will return.

August 12, 2014We have stayed here many times and we live local. We love staying here! This summer I was aware of how much they have done to get the grounds cleaned up! Looked very nice! Never stayed in the cabins so can not comment on those. But they fixed up the playground, the pool was open and clean, and they mowed the weeds around the ponds so fishing was much easier. Now let's talk about fishing! They stock their big pond and it's fun to fish there. Mostly catfish but they give a good fight and are big!!! We throw back anyway. The main bathroom by the front is air conditioned and has always been clean. The putt putt golf is fun for the kids and they even cleaned that area up good too. Like I said, we love staying there so when our grand daughter comes we take her and her friends and they like it a lot. Since we stay there often we have encountered the office staff a lot. For the most part they have been friendly to us. They have always accommodated us with no hassles at all. There have been a few times where they could have been friendlier, but not enough to make me complain to someone And I would. And it's not all of them. The work staff that drives around the grounds are always very friendly. We have a 25 ft pull behind and the spots are full hook up and accommodate us just fine. We camp a lot and this is one of our favorite places to stay when we don't want to go far. The prices are a bit higher but you get a lot for it. I think after a certain time in the evening if you pull in they should lower the price if your just staying for the night. I do agree the front office should stay open longer. Over all I think it's definitely a good place to camp whether passing through or for a few days. We always have fun there whether it's my husband and I alone to fish and relax or with the kids!! Plus there is a large park with a lake and playground area right across the street. I would recommend this campground to others for sure.

Very poorly maintained facilty. Paddle boats are broken, play ground set is old and missing parts like the slide which leaves a big opening for children to fall out of. Paid 190.00 a night for a cabin to find a disgusting sheet on the sofa bed, used condoms in the fire pit and a roof that leaks when it rains. The staff is rude, we stayed in a 8 person cabin. They give you one free putt putt game a day, we asked for 7 clubs and was given the 3rd degree about having that many people. I guess people stealing putt putt is a major problem there? Do yourself a favor and stay at jelly stone park at the cave city exit, top notch facility.
