Well, I love Kentucky. The KOA has really clean restroom facilities and super friendly staff. Down side is that the sites are not great. Poorly maintained with uneven gravel pull-throughs, fire rings and beat-up picnic tables. So many dogs, barking at 6am is a big problem. Good thing is you meet great people from KY who are camping with their kids! Love that memories are made here.
Great place.friendly staff.lots of things to do in b.g. beach bend park drag racing circle track racing corvette museum. Lots of places to eat.western link y university.
Enjoyed our stay very much ! Somewhat pricey but would stay there again ! Very friendly people and private .
We have stayed at the Bowling Green KOA multiple times. We are always greeted by the the friendly staff, who go out of their way to help you. This past year they have worked hard to manicure the grounds and update the kids area and put-put golf area and it shows. We will return.
Always have a great time fishing here. Staff is great and never have a had a day without catching several.
Great KOA. Dog park. Shady. Pool. Highly recommend. Even if you don't have an RV or tent they have cute cabins!
Had a one day (turnaround) stay. The maintenance guy was Super Friendly and Helpful !!! Kept an eye on grounds All Night and was up Early to start his work patrol !! Give the Man A RAISE!!! Great place!!! Will definitely be back!!!
It was very nice. We were practically level without help. We arrived late and could see well enough to grill dinner in the patio. We were probably noisier than anyone and we're quiet. This was our second stay here. We were pretty satisfied. Maybe the only downside is road noise but it's so convenient.
awesome wonderful stay enjoyed the tri five had great neighbors . plan to stay there again next year.bringing more people with us thanks again for a great stay
Very poorly maintained facilty. Paddle boats are broken, play ground set is old and missing parts like the slide which leaves a big opening for children to fall out of. Paid 190.00 a night for a cabin to find a disgusting sheet on the sofa bed, used condoms in the fire pit and a roof that leaks when it rains. The staff is rude, we stayed in a 8 person cabin. They give you one free putt putt game a day, we asked for 7 clubs and was given the 3rd degree about having that many people. I guess people stealing putt putt is a major problem there? Do yourself a favor and stay at jelly stone park at the cave city exit, top notch facility.
We have stayed at this campground a couple of times.....friendly staff & clean campground.
Great location, close to everything yet not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Bath/shower room is clean and warm during the chili months. Been stopping there for years.
Staff was great. Pool was clean. Bathrooms need an update and be monitored through the day. Seem to be a lot of permanent residents in the park.
Clean, kid friendly, great staff!!!!
Great place, clean and a nice stay. Will stop there again.
One of the best KOA's we have been to so far....will definitely be a repeat for us!
Our family had such a great time for Halloween looking forward to continuing this family tradition.
Campground is very nice. Has full hook ups, patio with furniture, closed in play ground and s closed in pet playground.
A storm had gone through and no cable TV. Only stayed one night
Very nice campground! We definitely will be returning in the future
This is the best Koa in Ky ,,,,the workers are all very Friendly ,,,,the Place is very Clean and decorated ,,,,Bath Houses are always nice ,,, A very Good Koa to stay at ,,,
Got to admit this is one great campground. Stayed here after all the hotels in the area where booked and were charging upwards of $200 per night... got my usual cabin with bathroom and shower for active military for $72. I love KAO campgrounds and i never pass up a chance to stay at one. The lady was very friendly and very helpful...southern hospitality at its best. Only suggestion: colder ac unit in the cabin...i like it cold.
What a great park! We hadn't planned on staying here, but had truck issues and they got us right in for two nights. It was beautiful, well maintained, and nice, big sites. This park made a frustrating situation a good experience. Thanks so much!
Bowling Green KOA is one of our favorite campgrounds.
They do not give refunds, even if you drive home, ten minutes after seeing what you just paid for, literally never setting anything on their grounds. If you want a vacation, do not come to this place. The interstate is its neighbor, the sites are too close together. The camper/RV sites are incredibly close to the tent sites. It is suffocating. The biggest joke I have ever paid for. Not a happy customer.
Really great staff! Cabins and grounds were worth the trip.
We have stayed here many times and we live local. We love staying here! This summer I was aware of how much they have done to get the grounds cleaned up! Looked very nice! Never stayed in the cabins so can not comment on those. But they fixed up the playground, the pool was open and clean, and they mowed the weeds around the ponds so fishing was much easier. Now let's talk about fishing! They stock their big pond and it's fun to fish there. Mostly catfish but they give a good fight and are big!!! We throw back anyway. The main bathroom by the front is air conditioned and has always been clean. The putt putt golf is fun for the kids and they even cleaned that area up good too. Like I said, we love staying there so when our grand daughter comes we take her and her friends and they like it a lot. Since we stay there often we have encountered the office staff a lot. For the most part they have been friendly to us. They have always accommodated us with no hassles at all. There have been a few times where they could have been friendlier, but not enough to make me complain to someone And I would. And it's not all of them. The work staff that drives around the grounds are always very friendly. We have a 25 ft pull behind and the spots are full hook up and accommodate us just fine. We camp a lot and this is one of our favorite places to stay when we don't want to go far. The prices are a bit higher but you get a lot for it. I think after a certain time in the evening if you pull in they should lower the price if your just staying for the night. I do agree the front office should stay open longer. Over all I think it's definitely a good place to camp whether passing through or for a few days. We always have fun there whether it's my husband and I alone to fish and relax or with the kids!! Plus there is a large park with a lake and playground area right across the street. I would recommend this campground to others for sure.
This facility is family owned and operated by some really great people. They do their absolute best to maintain a clean, functional, kid friendly, pet friendly park. I have stayed here several times and enjoy it every time we get a chance.
We are here now and this is a good place if you are just using this as a place to stay if you have plans to go to see the sights. Free WiFi for 3 days, then you pay, turned water off to fix sewage problem without warning , will see how rest of week goes
Friendly staff. Nice park. We were in the back of the campground with very little traffic. WiFi was off and on but we were aways out and it was not that much of a problem. Enjoyed feeding the fish. Just like being at home. Stayed a week.
